Today, Stryker Endoscopy supplies products for arthroscopy, general surgery, and surgical visualization. Product lines within those market groups include; video cameras, light sources, endoscopes, powered surgical instruments, cutters and burs, pumps, insufflators, tube sets, manual instrumentation, voice activation, digital documentation and computerized radiography. Stryker Endoscopy continues to pursue an aggressive growth strategy that includes acquisitions, strategic partnerships and rapid new product introduction. Recent Stryker Endoscopy acquisitions include Infomedix which forms Stryker Communications and Sightline which forms GI. Stryker Communications develops, manufactures and markets booms, lights, and communication systems for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. The Stryker Endoscopy Division has capitalized on the newly-formed Stryker Communications Business Unit to create a fully integrated MIS solution known as the Endosuite; an operating room specialized for minimally invasive surgery. The Stryker Oracle Elite Project was commissioned to implement a comprehensive set of Oracle applications for the Stryker Endoscopy facility located in Puerto Rico. Other Stryker Endoscopy Business Units have previously implemented Oracle. The San Jose Endoscopy and Flower Mound based Communications Business Unit went live with Oracle in July of 2006. The GI Business Unit went live with Oracle in May of 2007 sharing the same Oracle Instance with San Jose and Communications.
